Having your own domain name will enable all your email addresses to be your

Does Final Host support Microsoft FrontPage?
Yes, we fully support FrontPage 97 to recent extensions on
all our web hosting plans. Final Host does NOT charge extra for FrontPage
extensions.
When you order your plan, you can specify which publishing
method you wish to use MS FrontPage or FTP. If MS Frontpage is selected,
extensions will be installed upon your account set up.
Note: you must have a working copy of Microsoft
FrontPage installed on your computer to take advantage of FrontPage
extensions.
Once I've ordered can I access my website right away?
Yes, once you place your order and your payment is processed, you can upload your site immediately.
Final Host assigns you with a temporary internet (IP)
address for uploading all your website's files. You may access &
upload your website by using your assigned temporary URL which enables you to get your site up and running while your domain name propagates throughout the
Internet.
Will others have access my files?
Our servers are set up in such a way that no other users can access your
directory tree. The only files outsiders will be able to see is what you let
them (i.e. your web pages in your public_html directory) and your CGI
scripts in your personal cgi-bin directory will be available for execution.
Do you do back ups of client websites?
Yes, we perform an automatic full system backup once a day to the mirror hard drive.
Does Final Host have any usage restrictions?

How long does it take to transfer/register a new Domain name?
Approximately 24 hrs from the time registration or transfer is placed.
After InterNic approves your domain name transfer, they must send out a
message to all the Internet Service Providers of the new domain name, (DNS).
This is known as propagating the domain name, which can take an additional
12 - 24 hrs to complete, until your ISP resolves the new name. You will
continue to receive the "NO DNS" message for your domain name.
Please bring this to our attention should this continue for more than 48
hrs. after your name registrar has notified you that the registration was
placed.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept the following types of payment: Credit Cards: Mastercard Visa,
Discover, American Express and PayPal. Company/personal checks or money
order.
What is your refund policy?
Final Host will make every possible effort to make your hosting experience pleasant
and easy. However, if you are not satisfied for whatever reason, you can always receive a refund.
If you cancel your account within the first 30 days of your order, you will receive a full refund.
Can I transfer my current Domain to Final Host?
Yes, whether you place an order by telephone or online, be
sure to specify that you are requesting a transfer and NOT a new domain.
Your registrar will either have an online modification form or will send a
modification template to you for the domain transfer.
When InterNIC receives the transfer request from you they
will generate an acknowledgment request (Yes/No) and send it to the
current administrative contact of the domain. Once the administrative
contact acknowledges the transfer, InterNIC will release the transfer for
DNS propagation. The process is very quick providing the person ordering
the server is either listed as the Technical contact or the Administrative
contact with the Internic. If you are not sure, you can contact the go to http://netsol.com/cgi-bin/whois/whois
type in your domain name (yourdomain.com), and see if you are listed as administrative
contact.. If you are not you will need the permission of either contact by
the person (s) listed to switch hosts. (always be sure that all
information regarding your domain name is yours and not the hosts, that is
why we always list our customers as the Administrative and Billing
Contacts.)
You should keep your current web hosting service while
waiting for Internic to complete the transfer. We will provide you with a
temporary address so you can upload and access your website on our
servers. All email and web pages will still be accessed from the current
site. When Internic announces the completion of the transfer there is a
24-48 hour propagation period where visitors could go to either your
domain name or the temporary website address.
Will I have access to update my Domain 24 hrs a day?
Yes, You will have unlimited access 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. As such,
you can create your web pages on your own computer and upload files and
maintain your account on our server at your leisure.
May I run my own cgi scripts directly from my account?
Yes. You will have full access to your own private cgi-bin. You may use
any winNT compatible custom scripts that you wish. Although we cannot
provide technical support for 3rd party scripts, our support staff will be
happy to help you troubleshoot any problems you might have with their
initial setup. In addition please note that Final Host reserves the
right to delete or suspend any cgi script which it finds corrupt or to be a
security risk to the servers.
Does Final Host provide www dial-up access?
No, You will need local internet access in order to maintain your web
site and to retrieve email addressed to your site. Final Host does not
have hundreds of modems congesting our clients connectivity to their
websites, this ensures our customers with fast loading websites and
devotes more time to our customers individual hosting requirements.

How do I manage my hosting account and check my email?
Final Host provides a Web-based Members Control Panel, so you can manage your Web hosting account. Final Host also provides a Web-based email program for your
website's mail too, which enables you to send and receive email.
Because both of these tools are Web-based, you can access them at any time and from any location as long as you have a browser and a connection to the Internet.
